ABOUT THE SESSION

Join us for an informative discussion on trauma and its profound effects on both adults and children. Whether stemming from single events or prolonged experiences, trauma can leave individuals grappling with intense fear, helplessness, or horror, while also manifesting in physical symptoms like anxiety, anger, and difficulty concentrating.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

This seminar delves into the societal repercussions of trauma, pathways to healing, and how we can integrate Biblical principles with mental health practices to bring hope to those affected by trauma.

Questions to be addressed include:

  • How to recognise trauma
  • How to become a safe listener
  • How trauma impacts the brain and body
  • How to help victims of trauma find healing

Nancy Writebol

Nancy Writebol is a SIM Global Coordinator for Trauma Healing and a Healing Master Facilitator certified by Trauma Healing Institute. She is also ministering with Serving in Mission (SIM) in the US alongside her husband, David.
