“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” —Psalm 46:1

Torrential rains poured without mercy for days, turning Punjab’s golden fields into oceans of mud. In the wake of the devastating floods that have swept across Punjab and other parts of North India, entire villages were submerged and homes, crops and livelihoods were destroyed. Thousands of families are grappling with loss and despair.

We thank you for your prayers as we have obtained a permit from the Commissioner of Charities (Permit No. : 0072/2025) to fundraise for Punjab, India. We seek your partnership as The Bible Society of Singapore works closely with our partners on the ground to bring support and long-term restoration to those affected.

Rev Dr Richard Howell, President of Caleb Educational Trust shared, “Overflowing rivers, breached embankments and heavy rains have displaced families and destroyed homes. The distribution plan will prioritise the worst-hit villages and relief camps within these districts.”

Through this fundraising effort, we hope to raise SGD100,000 to support over 1,000 vulnerable families in Punjab, India. To provide help where it is needed most, the Bible Society partners with Caleb Educational Trust who works tirelessly to help flood victims rebuild lives through the provision of essential relief.

连日无情的暴雨将旁遮普的金黄稻田化为一片泥海。 洪水席卷旁遮普及北印度多个地区，村庄被淹、家园与农作物尽毁，数以千计的家庭正承受着失去亲人和家园的痛苦。

感谢您的祷告！新加坡圣经公会已获得慈善总监的许可（编号 : 0072/2025），正式开始为印度旁遮普赈灾募款。我们诚邀您与我们携手，与当地伙伴紧密配合，为受灾群体带来即时援助与长期重建支持。

迦勒教育信托主席理查德·豪威尔牧师（博士）表示：“持续暴雨导致河流决堤、堤坝溃口，无数家庭流离失所，家园毁于一旦。我们的援助计划将优先覆盖受灾最严重的村庄及区域内的救济营地。”此次筹款目标为

新币10万元，用以援助印度旁遮普超过1000个弱势家庭。新加坡圣经公会与迦勒教育信托协力帮助灾民重建家园、农田与生计，使援助落到实处。
